BUMMER!!!
Well, we are not going in August:(!!! Our son has speech therapy a few times a week that we can't get out of with this little notice. We also have a meeting about a house that we MUST attend on August 13th!!! So we will have to wait till December! On the bright side...at least I can avoid the HEAT!!! Sit out the remainder of the summer in my A/C at home!!! Thank God for A/C, I really was dreading that about Mexico!!!

Hablamos de Mexico
Speakin of Mexico!
I just found out last night that we might be going to Mexico the beginning of August!!! I am so excited...and will be extremely upset if it doesn't work out! My father in law left last night on the bus since he is laid off of work for the month or so! Hector said that things are slowin down a lot at work (him and his dad work for the same company) and if it stays this way we are going for a couple of weeks until Anthony starts the new school year August 18th...which also happens to be Hector's Birthday!I really need to brush on mis palabras en Español, before I go! Bare with me on the Spanish speaking...I taught myself for the most part listening to them, and with a $3 Spanish-English dictionary from Walmart and the info. option on Spanish movies from Dish Network!!! My Mexican speaks perfect English for the most part, with the exception of mixing up he and she sometimes, and calling his toes his fingers!!! LOL! But hey who am I talk? I am definitely not an ace student in this Spanish class! ;)
The last time we went I was so nervous and had no idea what to expect! This time I feel much better about it, and cannot wait to see everyone, I miss them all SOOO much! The problem is my non-human baby...our Chihuahua, Cuervo! We have all of his paperwork we need (shots, tags all that!) but I saw the dogs in Mexico and I am not sure I want him to be exposed to all of that! Besides, he would probably have to stay outside as I don't think Hilario (my father in law) would like it much if he was in the house!!! They use their dogs more like a garbage disposal than pets...I think it's sad, but who am I?
Okay, well I got lot's to do, I decided to go ahead and start packin now just in case. Last time, he had only given me 4 days notice and then decided 24 hours in advance to leave right then, leave it to a man! LOL! I still had some of our clothes in the washer (that I was at least able to throw in the dryer before rushing out the door!) and even more that still needed washed! So I plan to be prepared this time which means that I have lots of shopping (YAY!) and washing (NOT YAY!) to get done! I better get off of here so I can get started!

YES I love Mexico...
I am new at this so PLEASE bare with me! I just wanted to start a blog about Mexico...I recently got the chance to go, and I absolutely LOVED it there! I got lots and lots of pictures, and I have been able to find lots of people who have been to all different parts of Mexico, but have yet to find anyone else who has been where I went....Palmillas, Tamaulipas....it is where my husband (boyfriend technically but who really knows the difference after 5 years and 3 kids???) anyway, he was born there, and lived there until he was 14 years old, we went down for Christmas and to see his family there (LOVED them too!) I would love to find some more people who have been to that part of Mexico, or even other parts of Tamaulipas, if you have ever been to Mexico at all, or are curious about the happenings, let me know....possibly I can help ya out!
